Press Statement on Targeting Atewa Forest For Bauxite Mining-2017

This Press Statement was jointly released by the Coalition of NGO’s Against Mining Atewa (CONAMA) for Bauxite. This statement is a call on the  Government of Ghana  to reconsider targeting the Atewa Forest Reserve in the new $15 billion partnership deal with the Chinese Government to leverage Ghana’s bauxite resources.
