Mina Pokuaa Agyemang
Corporate Engagement Officer
Mina is the Corporate Engagement Officer for A Rocha Ghana. She works closely with the National Director and the Deputy National Director and respective Sector/ Projects Managers to bridge the gap between conservation initiatives and corporate entities first at national level.
She fosters good engagement, building partnerships, fostering sustainability and making appropriate linkages of conservation and corporations with a focus to fostering business sector support and investments either direct or indirectly, to enhance ecosystem services and natural capital in line with the organization’s mandate and values.
Mina holds a B.A. in Political Science with English and a M.A. in International Affairs degrees from the University of Ghana. With a passion for development, she has worked with both international and local organizations on programs/ projects that sought to the development and promotion of practical solutions to social and environmental challenges.
She co- founded the Agenda Project, which sought for the holistic education of orphans and the underprivileged children. Mina is a former Model United Nations trainer and a participant of the maiden Harvard Model United Nations Conference in 2015.
She is a Resolution Fellow, YALI West Africa fellow and an alumnus of Peace Conference of Youth, Osaka- Japan. Mina is an advisory member of the Women Entrepreneurship Day Organization, Ghana Chapter.
She believes that there is no task beyond one’s strength in that, whatever one sets his or her mind to do, he or she will be able to do it.
