…A March Worth The Mile

The much anticipated March was one taken in the interest of man―an interest with the a sole aim of salvaging over five million people from an imminent water crises if government in the near future refuses to back down on its deliberate plan to mine bauxite in the Atewa Landscape.

With not less than a 150 protesters, the crowd thundered through some principal streets in Ghana’s capital en route the Parliament House to present a Petition to the Speaker of the House.

Conducting the energetic group, the ‘Jama’ leader―a spirited young man could be heard chanting his heart out through the megaphone as the others responded in uninterrupted synergy.

While many curious spectators watched aloof as the energetic group chanted, others seeing the reason for the protest joined in the chant― ‘Atewa, No To Bauxite Mining’.
